Sweet places to eat in Glasgow

If you're visiting Glasgow you'll probably be lucky enough to discover that the weather isn't always good... So to help you brave the storm here's my top 3 places where you can get your strength back with a sweet break!

1. STACK AND STILL

On a stroll down Buchanan Street or after a visit to the lighthouse, why not indulge in some pancakes? At Stack & Still, it's all about choice. In fact, you could create nearly 12 million different pancake combinations using the menu options! That's a different pancake plate every day for over 35,000 years!

If you prefer to leave the creations to the chefs, they offer a selection of "Signature" dishes for you to choose from. It's up to you to choose between savoury and sweet! If you feel creative? You'll be spoilt for choice! You can also choose from five different pancake bases (normal, protein, sugar-free, gluten-free, complete) to combine with their wide range of sweet and savoury fillings to build your perfect stack.

2. CORO THE CHOCOLATE CAFE

Right in the centre you will find the sign Coro the Chocolate Cafe. The place is suitable for breakfast, an afternoon treat or a dessert. They offer a wide choice of sweets such as pancakes and waffles. If that doesn't convince you, they offer belege chocolate fondues with fresh fruits, cakes or hot chocolate. With the possibility of creating your own desserts, they allow everyone to find what they like, even if you are not a chocolate lover.

3. OKASHI

After a visit to the Kelvingrove Museum or the University of Glasgow, let yourself be tempted by OKASHI. Situated in the West End, it is without a doubt the cutest café in town, and the most unsgrammable! From the flowery walls to the pink gold cutlery, everything is lovely here, the cakes and drinks are all beautifully presented and the attention to detail is amazing. I recommend it!
